Injuries were reported after a crash Wednesday on Mountain City Highway.
As per the initial information, the motor vehicle accident took place at around 4:20 p.m. At this time, it is unknown how many vehicles were involved. It is also unclear how many people were injured as a result of the accident. The early reports indicated that snowfall played a part in the crash.
The Nevada Department of Transportation reported adverse driving conditions on most of the highways. They also stated that chains or snow tires were required on Emigrant Pass and Secret Pass. Officers advised the public to expect one to three inches of new snow by 9 p.m. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
