70-Year-Old Roberta Sites Died In A Pedestrian Crash In Allegan County (Allegan County, MI)

Michigan State Police reported a pedestrian crash that killed at least one person on Wednesday morning. The crash happened near Marsh and Perce roads in Gun Plain Township.

The pedestrian walking across the roadway to check her mailbox was hit by an SUV heading on Marsh Road. 

The victim was identified as Roberta Sites, 70, from Gun Plain Township.

She was pronounced dead on the scene. 

The 37-year-old woman SUV driver remained unharmed from the crash. 

The road was shut down until 4:30 p.m. following the crash.
