69-year-old Arlin Lindstrom hospitalized following a two-vehicle accident in US 395 (Pasco, WA)

Authorities identified 69-year-old Arlin Lindstrom, of Moses Lake, as the victim who received injuries following a traffic accident Thursday on US 395.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place on US 395 and Foster Wells Road. The preliminary reports showed that Lindstrom was driving south in a Ford F-250 with a trailer when a big rig turning north from Foster Wells Road collided with his vehicle.

On arrival, paramedics transported Lindstrom to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland with unspecified injuries. The big rig driver identified as 44-year-old Ying H Zhu from Ontario, Canada remained unharmed in the accident. The southbound US 395 was blocked while crews worked at the scene.

Zhu did not yield the right of way to Lindstrom and they have three charges pending. No other information is available.

An investigation is ongoing.
