Officials report that a car crash on Martin Luther King Boulevard on Wednesday night led to the death of 1 woman. A press release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says that the fatal collision happened around 12.26 AM.
A driver of a Nissan Rogue was traveling north on Martin Luther King Boulevard when they slowed down for upcoming traffic. A second car, a Kia Soul, driven by the victim was traveling in the same direction. It did not slow down and crashed into the back of the Nissan causing the Nissan to roll over.
The victim was the driver of the Kia. Her male passenger and the other driver were trasnported to the hospital for treatment.
Next of kin has been notified.
