59-year-old Mark A Strother dead after a motorcycle crash in Ridgecrest (Ridgecrest, CA)

Authorities identified 59-year-old Mark A Strother, of Baton Rouge, as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle collision on May 6 in Ridgecrest.

The fatal motorcycle crash took place at approximately 2:38 p.m. on U.S. Route 395, north of Garlock road. According to the investigation reports, a man was riding his motorcycle when it smashed into a Freightliner for undetermined reasons.

The motorcyclist, identified as Mark A Strother, succumbed to his injuries as a result of the accident. He reportedly died by blunt injuries and his death was ruled an accident. No additional information has been provided.

An investigation is continuing.
