A 59-year-old male pedestrian received injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run motorist Wednesday in Eureka.
As per the initial information, the hit-and-run collision took place on Broadway Street between Vigo Street and West Hawthorne Street. The early reports indicated that a Toyota Tacoma with a camper shell hit the victim who had a compound fracture on his right leg. The driver left the scene after hitting the pedestrian.
