Authorities identified 57-year-old Carolyn Sanders as the woman who received injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run motorist last month in Houston.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run accident took place on January 17 at around 8:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of Gears Road. The preliminary reports showed that Sanders was crossing the street when the driver of a white SUV hit her.
