56-year-old Kenneth White dead after a single-car crash in Slidell (Slidell, LA)

Authorities identified 56-year-old Kenneth White, of Pearlington, Mississippi as the man who lost his life following a single-vehicle accident on June 15 in St. Tammany Parish.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place on I-10, 2 miles east of Interstate 59. The preliminary investigation indicated that 56-year-old Kenneth White was westbound on Interstate 10 in a 2004 Ford Explorer when the car drove off the roadway for reasons that are yet to be known.

The vehicle flipped over several times before crashing into a tree. White was ejected from the vehicle due to the impact. White was reportedly not buckled up at the time of the collision. He suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. A toxicology sample was taken for analysis. No other details are made available.

The crash remains under investigation.
