According to the Dallas Police, a hit-and-run accident was reported on Friday. 

The officials stated that a crash happened at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Dawson Street south of the Deep Ellum area. 

A 55-year-old woman was hit by the driver of a vehicle, reported the Police. 

Officials revealed that the driver stopped and then left the scene without rendering aid. 

The injured victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. 

Police are yet to determine the identity of the woman. 

The description of the suspect’s vehicle is awaited by the police. 

No additional information regarding the crash was provided by Dallas Police.
