On Friday, five people suffered injuries after a car rolled over the center divider on the 14 Freeway in Newhall.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash was reported at about 11:40 a.m. on the 14 Freeway near Placerita Canyon Road in Newhall. The early reports showed that an SUV heading southbound crashed into another car before rolling over and landing on the northbound side of the 14 Freeway.
One person was pinned, and freed from the wreckage by the firefighters. Five people were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Traffic on both sides of the 14 Freeway was affected as crews worked at the scene. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
