Authorities identified 43-year-old Alan L Moody, from Wenatchee, as the man who suffered injuries following a single-vehicle accident on Monday night north of Entiat.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place on Highway 97A. The early reports showed that Alan L Moody was riding a 2004 Yamaha south on Highway 97A when he reportedly attempted to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed. The rider failed to maintain control of the motorcycle and traveled off the highway.
Due to the impact, Moody was thrown from the motorcycle. Both the bike and Moody ended up in an embankment. Moody was rushed to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee with unspecified injuries. Speeding was the likely cause of the collision, officials said. No other details are made available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
