40-year-old Jonathan Krejci killed after he jumped out from his car and got hit by another vehicle (Phoenix, AZ)

On Saturday, 40-year-old Jonathan Krejci died after he jumped out of his moving car and got struck by a vehicle in Phoenix Parking lot.

As per the initial information, officers quickly responded to the area of 32nd Street and Camelback Road at around 11 a.m. after getting reports of a crash. On arrival, responders learned that two men were travelling in a car when the passenger jumped out from the vehicle for reasons that are yet to be known. Just then, another vehicle ran down the man.

Emergency crews rushed the man, later identified as 40-year-old Jonathan Krejci, to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
