The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Spanaway on Tuesday afternoon. The officials reported that a Subaru struck a Chevrolet Silverado as it was turning into a Walmart while traveling quickly north on Mountain Highway East.
An adolescent girl was thrown from the Subaru. She was taken to the hospital right away after suffering severe injuries. Three additional 18-year-old males were transported to the hospital under unknown circumstances. The truck’s 69-year-old driver did not sustain any injuries.
