4 people hurt after a crash in Oakland (Oakland, CA)

Four people were hurt after a crash Sunday morning in Oakland.

As per the initial information, the traffic accident involving two ladder trucks took place just before 8 a.m. on 20th St. and Broadway. The crews were responding to a fire in a now vacant building formerly owned by Pacific Gas and Electric building when the incident happened. Four Oakland firefighters were injured as a result of the collision.

The firefighters were taken to a local hospital. All four have since been released, two are resting at home, and the two others have returned to work. One person was found unharmed inside the building. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
