Several people suffered injuries following a traffic collision in North Austin.
As per the initial information, the multi-vehicle wreck took place in the 12100 block of I-35. The early reports showed that a semi-truck and several other vehicles were involved in the pile-up. According to the officials, twelve people were involved in the crash. Four of them remained unharmed in the accident.
Four people were evaluated but they refused to be taken to the hospital. Four people were taken to hospitals, three as Trauma Alerts. Two of the Trauma Alerts, an adult and a late teenager, were rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center with potentially serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The third Trauma Alert was shifted to St. David’s Round Rock with potentially serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and expect delays. The identities of the injured victims have not been revealed at this time. The events that have led up to the crash remain unknown. No other details are made available.
The wreck remains under investigation.
