38-year-old man hospitalized after a motorcycle crash in San Diego (San Diego, CA)

On Saturday night, a 38-year-old man sustained injuries following a two-vehicle collision in San Diego.

As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place at 8:45 p.m. in the 5200 block of Imperial Avenue. The preliminary investigation indicated that the motorcyclist was traveling west when he approached the intersection of Imperial Avenue and San Jacinto Drive.

The motorcyclist attempted to pass the vehicle when it sideswiped a 2016 Cadillac that turned left onto San Jacinto Drive. Due to the impact of the collision, the rider was thrown from the motorcycle. The motorcyclist had a fractured right femur. Paramedics transported the man to a hospital with non-fatal injuries. No additional information has been provided.

The crash remains under review.
