On Tuesday, a 35-year old Ryan Shaw was killed after being hit by a vehicle near West Pico Boulevard and South Broadway in Los Angeles, CA.

As per LAPD, the auto-pedestrian accident took place at about 7:00 p.m. near W Pico Blvd and Broadway. The preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a high rate of speed and proceeded to take off. Within a short time, officers we’re able to arrest a 23-year old female driver.

Los Angeles Police Department has mentioned that the pedestrian was conscious and responsive before being taken to the local hospital. Unfortunately, Ryan Shaw had succumbed to his injuries within just a few minutes arriving at the hospital. As for the driver, officers did not rule out drugs or alcohol at this time and an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
