Authorities identified 34-year-old Luis Miguel Sanabria Rosas as the victim who was killed following a traffic collision Friday evening in Ramona.
The fatal single-vehicle crash took place on San Pasqual Valley Road. The preliminary investigation showed that Rosas lost control of his vehicle for “undetermined reasons” while heading eastbound on San Pasqual Valley Road in Ramona, crossed the westbound lane, went down an embankment and struck a boulder.
A 911 call was placed by another vehicle that had seen the crash, medical officials said. First responders arrived at the scene but Rosas was declared dead due to fatal trauma. No further details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
