On Tuesday, authorities confirmed that 34-year-old Caitlin Finney, from Las Vegas, died of injuries she suffered after getting struck by a vehicle on May 2 in the west part of the valley.
The fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place along Charleston Boulevard east of Heavenly Hill Court. According to the investigation reports, Finney was crossing outside of an unmarked crosswalk when she was struck by the driver of a Dodger Charger.
Reports further added that Finney entered the travel path of the Dodge and got hit. On Tuesday, May 10, the coroner’s office informed the officers that Finney had succumbed to her injuries. No further details were provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
