According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a hit-and-run accident occurred in El Paso on Friday.
The crash happened on the right lane of U.S. 54.
According to the investigators, an unknown vehicle and a 32-year-old were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the pedestrian tried to pick up the tarp, and another car swerved left to avoid the parked truck but hit the pedestrian.
According to the reports, the pedestrian suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The El Paso Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
