The Phoenix Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Friday.
The accident occurred in an area near 51st Avenue and Thomas Road
Two of the people injured were identified to be Phoenix Police officers.
According to the officials, two cars were speeding when they struck a patrol vehicle.
The officials said that the adult driver of one of the two vehicles was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, identified only as a teenager, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The identities of the victims have not been disclosed.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
