On Saturday, three people suffered injuries following a rollover crash in Dandridge.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place at the 424 mile-marker on I-40 West. Once responders arrived, they found one car with three passengers rolled over and blocking the left lane. Emergency crews took all three passengers to the hospital with unspecified injures.
Traffic was rerouted to the right-hand emergency lane as crews worked at the scene. After 45 minutes, the car was hauled away from the road and all lanes were back open. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
