3 people, including a 3-year-old child injured after a two-vehicle collision in west Shreveport (Shreveport, LA)

On Saturday afternoon, two women and a 3-year-old child received injuries following a traffic collision in west Shreveport.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Buncombe Road and Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. The preliminary investigation revealed that the two women and child were riding in a red Nissan going through the intersection when a white SUV driven by a female crashed into their car.

The two females and the child in the Nissan were rushed to Ochsner LSU Health with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV and her male passenger remained unharmed in the accident. No further details were provided by the officials.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
