Three people received injuries following a wreck Thursday morning in Casa Grande.
As per the initial information, the three-vehicle accident took place on Jimmie Kerr Boulevard. The preliminary reports showed that a driver in a Sedan waited in the left turn lane to turn onto the on-ramp to I-10 eastbound when their vehicle got rear-ended by a box truck. Due to the impact, the Sedan was pushed into oncoming traffic where it was hit head-on by another car.
Emergency responders airlifted the driver of the Sedan to a Valley hospital with non-fatal injuries. The driver and a passenger in the other car were also transported to Banner Casa Grande Medical Center with unspecified injuries. The driver of the box truck remained unharmed in the accident. No other details are available.
The wreck remains under review.
