Two men and a woman lost their lives while four other people, including the driver received injuries after a fiery crash Saturday in Orange.
As per the initial information, the fatal car accident took place at about 2:45 a.m. on Glassell Street. The early reports showed that a 2005 Nissan Altima was speeding on Glassell Street when the collision happened. When responders arrived at the scene, they found the car engulfed in flames and a possible nitrous oxide tank and balloons were discovered “in and around the vehicle.”
The reports further revealed that the car struck guardrails and signal lights related to a railroad crossing. The two males and the female were declared dead at the scene. Responders rushed four people to hospitals. Three victims had critical injuries while one person sustained moderate injuries.
One of the critically injured was the motorist driving the Nissan. Two of the three critically injured people were minors, according to the authorities. Impairment and speed did not contribute to the wreck. No other details are available.
The crash remains under review.
