The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a motor vehicle crash in Stillmore early Wednesday that killed three van passengers.
According to Coroner Jeffrey Peebles, the crash happened at Georgia Highway 57 and Poplar Avenue around 6 a.m.
The fatal crash happened when the van traveling north drove off into the path of an 18-wheeler truck.
Three people died at the scene, and one was rushed to the August University Medical Centre trauma unit.
The victim’s identities will soon be released by the authorities.
The crash is under investigation.
