Authorities identified 29-year-old John Mund, from Sulphur Springs, as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle collision Thursday near Como.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place on FM 1567 at about 8:30 a.m. The preliminary investigation indicated that John Mund was driving a 2021 Harley Davidson Street Glide westbound while a 2019 Ford F-150 driven by 43-year-old Kale Tifft was stopped at the intersection of CR 2435 and FM 1567.

According to the officials, Tifft failed to yield the right of way to Mund as he entered the intersection and the crash happened. Mund suffered major injuries and was declared deceased at the scene by the officials. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
