New Mexico state police responded to a fatal crash that claimed a life and injured four others.
A truck driven by Tanner Walker, 27, failed to stop at a red sign at the intersection of Porter Road and Carrasco road and was hit by another truck.
Walker was pronounced dead on the scene. The 35-year-old passenger in Walker’s truck was flown to a hospital in Texas. The second passenger, a 23-year-old man, was also taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The other truck driver and his passenger were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the police, alcohol does not seem to be a factor in the crash. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
