The Seattle Fire Department personnel reported a motor vehicle crash in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood on Saturday morning. The accident happened at 4h Avenue south and south Massachusetts Street at around 1:30 a.m. The collision involved two vehicles. 

The suspect driver, 27, suffered serious injuries. He was brought to Harborview Medical Center, where he passed away later.

Six people, including the driver, were riding in the second car that was involved in the collision. They were all transported to Harborview Medical Center for additional evaluation after suffering minor injuries. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed at this time. 

The SPD Traffic Collision Squad responded to the fatal crash and will take the lead on the investigation.
