27-year-old Anthony Ortega dead; 3 others hurt after a multi-vehicle wreck in Compton (Compton, CA)

On Monday, authorities identified 27-year-old Anthony Ortega as the man who lost his life following a traffic collision that also hurt three other people on Sunday in Compton.

The fatal multi-vehicle accident took place at 2:50 AM on northbound Long Beach (710) north of Alondra Boulevard. Officials confirmed that three people received minimal injuries as a result of the collision.

27-year-old Anthony Ortega suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The events that have led up to the wreck remain unclear at this time. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
