According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle accident occurred in San Diego on Sunday. The crash happened on Interstate 805 near City Heights.
According to the investigators, a black Kawasaki and a 23-year-old were involved in the collision. The Kawasaki driver was traveling northbound when he lost control of his vehicle and struck the median.
A 23-year-old man was identified as the driver of the Kawasaki who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the police, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved.
