Police officials are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred in Gonzales, on Tuesday, just after 10 p.m.
According to the State police report, 20-year-old Ashton Anderson was killed in the accident.
On completion of the initial investigation, the Police revealed that a juvenile driver of a 2015 Toyota Corolla was turning left from a parking lot on La. 44. Anderson was also driving his 2019 Kawasaki Motorcycle towards the north of La. 44.
There was also a juvenile passenger along with Anderson on the motorcycle.
Officials confirmed Anderson succumbed to his injuries, despite wearing a helmet.
The juvenile passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No Charges have been filed against the juvenile.
As a part of the investigation, a toxicology sample was taken from both drivers and submitted for analysis.
