A fatal crash claimed life of a 53-year-old Houston man outside of Port Lavaca in Calhoun County on Sunday.
At around 12:30 p.m., Warren Thomas Martens was going westbound in a Ford Ranger when a Dodge Ram banged into his vehicle head-on.
Medardo Luis Garcia, 40, was steering the Dodge Ram eastbound on the farm road and passed the center line before striking the Ford Ranger head-on.
Authorities declared Martens dead at the scene. However, Calhoun County EMS shifted Garcia to Citizens Medical Center in Victoria with non-serious injuries.
In the meantime, investigators have started probing this crash
