According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Tuesday on Fortress Boulevard.
Two students were hit by a car off campus by a private vehicle, stated the Rutherford County Schools Public Information Officer James Evans.
The officials are investigating the origin of the incident.
According to the official, the students were taken to the local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The identity of the students and the driver is awaited by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
