On Thursday night, two people lost their lives following a traffic accident in Hazel Park.
As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle crash took place on I-75, north of 8 Mile Road at 9:30 p.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle slammed into the median wall on I-75 in Hazel Park and flipped over. Reports further added that the driver was seen driving erratically on the southbound side of the freeway before striking the wall.
The force of the collision ejected the driver from the vehicle. The driver and a passenger of the vehicle died of their injuries after the accident. No additional information has been provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
