2 People Injured In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Sacramento (Sacramento, CA)

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, a motor vehicle collision was reported early Monday morning in Old North Sacramento. 

The officials stated that a speeding vehicle hit a power pole and two people were injured. 

The officials reported that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed near Arden Way and Del Paso Boulevard at around 12:30 a.m. when the driver crashed into the power pole in half. 

The Sacramento Fire Department found electrical components spilled onto the sidewalk and roadway upon arrival. 

The Fire Department extricated one of the occupants from the vehicle and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. 

The second occupant suffered minor injuries from the crash reported the officials. 

The identity of both victims was not released by the officials. 

The high rate of speed was the cause of the accident.
