Police reports state that 2 people were severely injured in an early morning car crash on Sunday. Texas Department of Public Safety stated that a teen driver of a Toyota Tacoma pickup was traveling southeast on US 84.
At about 12 miles northeast of Coleman, officers state that the vehicle swerved across the oncoming lane, before striking a fence. The vehicle rolled over and ejected both occupants out of the vehicle. The occupants were both transported to area hospitals with severe injuries.
Investigations indicated that the occupants of the vehicle were not wearing their seat belts. The Department of Public Safety declined to comment on the identities of both occupants as they were teenagers. No details have been released regarding the cause of the accident.
