Two people received injuries following a rollover accident early Monday morning on the city’s Southeast Side.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at about 1 a.m. on SE Military Drive, near South W.W. White Road. Multiple agencies responded to the scene. The early reports showed that a female driver and a passenger were heading on SE Military when the driver lost control of the vehicle and flipped several times off the road.
According to the authorities, the driver was abler to get out of the vehicle herself, but the passenger had to be extricated by firefighters. Both the driver and the passenger were rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center. The driver is listed as stable, but the passenger, however, is in a more serious condition. No other details are available.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
