13-year-old boy critically injured after an auto-pedestrian collision in Augusta (Augusta, GA)

On Friday afternoon, a 13-year-old boy suffered critical injuries after being hit by an SUV in Augusta.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash was reported at 11:30 a.m. on White Road and Kissingbower Road. The early reports showed that a car struck a child for reasons that are yet to be known. The pedestrian suffered critical injuries as a result of the collision.

At this time, it is unknown if the vehicle that hit the boy stayed at the scene or not after the accident. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed. No additional information has been provided.

The incident remains under investigation.
