11-year-old child critically injured after an auto-pedestrian crash in Crosby (Crosby, TX)

An 11-year-old child was left in critical condition after getting struck by a vehicle in the Crosby area on Monday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

As per the initial information, deputies actively responded to the 17500 block of FM 2100 at about 6:05 p.m. on reports of an auto-pedestrian collision. On arrival, emergency responders airlifted the child to the hospital via LifeFlight in critical condition.

On the other hand, the driver who hit the child stayed at the scene. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identity of the injured child has not been released. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
