According to the Dallas Police Department, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Dallas on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened south on Denley Drive. The driver of the car struck the woman and sped off from the scene.
The suspect was traveling in a Black 2017-2018 Hyundai with its front grill missing. The victim suffered major injuries and was rushed to the hospital following the collision.
The identity of the woman was not revealed and she was later pronounced dead by the Dallas Police.
The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
