Police responded to a pedestrian crash after a Mack semi-tractor trailer struck a pedestrian, parked cars, and a garage.
The crash happened when the driver traveling north on Meridian road near Lakewood drive slid off the road. After driving between trees in a front yard, striking multiple parked cars, including one that was occupied, and hitting a pedestrian, the trailer crashed into a garage.
The 75-year-old truck driver and the occupants of the vehicle that was hit remained uninjured from the crash.
According to the Grosse Ile Police Department, the pedestrian was transported to the hospital for unknown injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
Michigan State Police, The Downriver Fatal Accident Crash team, and the Trenton Police department assisted the crash scene.
