1 Person Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Carlsbad at around 6:45 a.m. The crash happened in the 2700 block of Faraday Avenue on Thursday. 

According to the investigators, a Mazda MX-5, a Honda Accord, and a Toyota Corolla were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the Mazda driver was traveling at a high speed and collided with the other two vehicles. 

According to the reports, the Mazda driver suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Carlsbad Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person. 

The cause of the accident is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
