According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Sun Valley on Tuesday. The crash happened on the 12900 block of Raymer Avenue at around 3:20 p.m.
According to the investigators, a Metrolink train and an unknown vehicle were involved in the collision. The driver of the unknown vehicle was struck by a Metrolink train.
The unknown person suffered significant injuries and was pronounced at the scene. The identity of the man is still being investigated at this time.
According to the reports, it is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
