The Los Angeles Police Department reported a hit-and-run accident on Monday. The accident occurred near the intersection of West 6th Street and South Bonnie Brae Street at around 7:30 p.m.
According to the officials, a driver had hit a pedestrian and fled from the scene. The pedestrian incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed.
