According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Houston on Saturday. The crash happened on the Katy Freeway at Gessner Road at around 4 a.m.
According to the investigators, a Toyota pickup truck and an unknown pedestrian were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the unknown man was putting gas in his vehicle and was hit by the Toyota truck.
The unknown man suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision. The Houston Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
The accident is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available currently.
