On Wednesday morning, one person was killed after getting struck by a bus in Dos Palos.
As per the initial information, the fatal pedestrian crash took place at about 3:00 a.m. on Almond Street and Elgin Avenue. The preliminary investigation indicated that a farm labor bus hit a pedestrian while pulling out of a driveway.
The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. Authorities believe that the pedestrian was sleeping under the bus before the collision. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are immediately available.
