On early Saturday morning, one person was killed after getting struck by a vehicle in Renton.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place on Carr Road and Talbot Road at about 2:00 a.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit the victim for undetermined reasons.
The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The driver of the involved vehicle was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. The area was shut down as crews worked at the scene. No other details are available.
