On Wednesday, one person was killed following a traffic collision in Pegram.
As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle crash took place on I-40 West a little before 3 a.m. The early reports showed that a driver failed to maintain control of the vehicle as a result of which the vehicle went off the embankment on I-40 West leaving Davidson County, near the Cheatham County line.
According to the officials, one person died after the accident. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details have been provided by the authorities.
The crash remains under investigation.
