On early Monday morning, one person died following a traffic collision near Lakeshore Park.
As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the intersection of South Northshore Drive and Lyons View Pike at about 7:00 a.m. after getting reports of a single-vehicle crash. On arrival, responders located the vehicle just inside Lakeshore Park.
The driver and the sole occupant of the vehicle suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
